Crystal Palace will play their first UEFA Europa League away fixture next Thursday when they visit Olympique Lyonnais. The match at Parc Olympique Lyonnais will begin at 18:45 local time, or 17:45 BST, with Palace aiming to make it two wins from two in the league phase.
Tickets for the fixture have sold out. The club will send tickets as PDF files by email between Monday and Tuesday. Supporters who have not received theirs by 09:00 BST on Wednesday 14 October have been advised to contact the Box Office.
Most travelling Palace supporters must report to the Eurexpo Lyon meeting point under an order issued by the French government. The designated location is West Entrance P2, where match tickets will be checked before fans board shuttle buses to the stadium. Eurexpo will open at 16:00 CEST, with the first bus departing at 16:30 and the final shuttle leaving at 18:15. The journey to the stadium is expected to take approximately 15 minutes. Supporters who do not use the designated buses will not be permitted into the away section.
After the match, visiting supporters may be required to remain in the stands for up to an hour before return shuttles take them back to Eurexpo. Disabled supporters and those holding Category 1 tickets are exempt from the shuttle requirement and may travel to the stadium independently. The away section is in blocks 428-431 in the north-east corner of the upper tier, while supporters who need wheelchair access will enter through the visiting supporters’ entrance and be escorted to the viewing platform by lift.
Fans travelling by public transport can reach Eurexpo from Grange Blanche station on Metro Line D before changing to the tram towards Eurexpo, with the journey taking around 20 minutes. Those driving can use the free P2 car park at the venue, which will open at 16:00. Lyon have also asked visiting supporters not to display Palace colours before entering the away section.
For pre-match options in the city centre, the King Arthur will open from 13:00 CEST, while the Elephant and Castle will open at 10:00 and offer a full English menu, including breakfast. Le Welsh Beer Bar, Maker of Stories and Ninkasi venues in Cordeliers, Guillotière and Grand Parilly are also listed as options. Palace’s Supporter Liaison Officer and Disability Access Officer, Nikki, can be contacted in France on 07345 703 244. Consular assistance is available on +33 1 44 51 31 00, and official travel advice for France has also been provided.
