Fantasy Premier League returns this weekend following the international break, with Crystal Palace preparing to face Nottingham Forest in Gameweek 6. Managers have until 11:00 BST on Saturday, 10 October, to finalise their teams.
Palace’s defence produced some of the strongest returns among defenders in the previous gameweek. Chris Richards (£4.9m) and Jaydee Canvot (£4.8m) each collected eight points after helping the Eagles keep their first Premier League clean sheet of the season, while also earning two Defensive Contributions points. Tyrick Mitchell (£4.5m) finished with seven points after adding a bonus point to his clean-sheet return.
Defenders receive two additional FPL points when they record at least 10 clearances, blocks, interceptions or tackles won in a match. Mitchell registered eight such actions against the Gameweek 5 opposition. Anan Khalaili (£5.0m) and goalkeeper Walter Benítez (£4.5m) also returned six points apiece from the clean sheet.
Daichi Kamada is currently Palace’s second-highest FPL scorer and leads the team for league goal involvements, having supplied three assists in five matches. His 440 minutes are bettered only by Richards among Palace players, while three of his four shots have come from inside the penalty area. Kamada is also joint-third among his teammates for touches in the opposition box, has created six chances—including two deemed big chances—and ranks joint-first for successful passes in the final third and second for successful passes into the box.
Owned by just 0.5 per cent of FPL managers, Kamada’s price and creative numbers make him a potential differential ahead of the visit to Forest. Morgan Gibbs-White is Nottingham Forest’s leading scorer in the game with 28 points, built from one goal, two assists and six bonus points this season.
With several popular FPL players flagged during the international break, managers are being advised to wait for clearer information before committing to transfers, even when price changes are approaching. Season Ticket+ Holders and Gold Members can also enter Palace’s exclusive 2026/27 Official FPL Mini-League, which offers monthly and seasonal prizes.
