Lyon’s 3-2 victory over Crystal Palace in the Europa League on Thursday is now followed by a return to domestic action, with Nice visiting the Groupama Stadium in the final match of the seventh Ligue 1 round.
The result against Palace came after Lyon were beaten by Lens last weekend. They will now look to build on their European success and stay with the leading teams in France.
Nice arrive in stronger league form, having won their last two matches. A further victory in Lyon would move them level with their opponents in the standings.
Kick-off is scheduled for 20:45 at the Groupama Stadium.
