Crystal Palace are determined to retain Ismaila Sarr during the January transfer window, with the club not intending to sell the Senegal international, according to Football Insider.

The 28-year-old winger has attracted interest in the past, having shown a desire to move to Liverpool last summer. Palace have since held discussions with Sarr over a new contract, strengthening the prospect of him remaining at Selhurst Park.

The club’s managerial situation could also become a major talking point. Palace may look for a coach who is currently without a job if they decide to part company with French manager Pierre Sage.

Former Brentford and Tottenham manager Thomas Frank, along with ex-Burnley, Everton and Nottingham Forest boss Sean Dyche, are among the names who could be considered if Palace choose to make a change.
