Crystal Palace’s uneven start to the season has put Pierre Sage under growing pressure, with speculation building over a possible managerial change at Selhurst Park. The Eagles sit 17th in the Premier League after seven matches and have recorded one win, one draw and one defeat in their first three Europa League fixtures.
Sage is now the second favourite in the market for the next Premier League manager to leave his post, behind Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick. That has also prompted early movement in the betting for the next Crystal Palace manager.
Former Burnley, Everton and Nottingham Forest boss Sean Dyche is the leading candidate in BetVictor’s market, priced at 1/2 to take over from Sage. Dyche has been without a club since leaving Forest in February 2026, when the team was 17th in the Premier League.
Thomas Frank is the second favourite at 3/1. The former Brentford manager moved to Tottenham ahead of the 2025/26 season, but was dismissed after a run that included only two Premier League wins in 17 matches.
Robbie Keane is listed at 10/1, while Kieran McKenna, Eddie Howe and Rob Edwards are each priced at 12/1. McKenna guided Ipswich Town back to the Premier League before leaving ahead of the new season, Howe departed Newcastle by mutual agreement late in the summer, and Edwards was dismissed by Wolves before the campaign began. Betting odds are subject to change.
