Crystal Palace have been drawn against Sunderland in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, following Wednesday evening’s draw after Liverpool’s meeting with Chelsea.
The Eagles are the only London club left in the competition. Palace secured their place in the last eight by defeating Fulham, while Sunderland advanced after eliminating Brentford.
Chelsea’s exit came against Liverpool, with the west London side losing on penalties. Arsenal were also knocked out from the spot by Fleetwood Town, leaving Palace as the capital’s sole representatives.
The remaining quarter-final ties will see Fleetwood Town face Newcastle United or Everton, Bradford City visit holders Manchester City, and Liverpool host Bournemouth at Anfield.
