Crystal Palace are already considering their options should the club decide to make a change in the dugout. According to The Telegraph, Sean Dyche is among the leading candidates to replace Pierre Sage.

Sage is under increasing pressure after Palace’s 2-0 home defeat by Newcastle. The result leaves the London club just one point above the relegation zone, while the Frenchman has managed only two Premier League victories since arriving four months ago.

Dyche has been without a club since leaving Nottingham Forest in February. His record includes extensive experience of relegation battles, including two promotions to the Premier League with Burnley and six consecutive seasons keeping the club in the top flight.

The former Everton manager also guided the Merseyside club to safety. Those achievements could make him an appealing option if Palace’s board chooses to act.

Thomas Frank and Vitor Pereira are also understood to be names that could be considered. Palace’s situation may become even more pressing with Tottenham and Liverpool scheduled to be their next opponents.
