Crystal Palace’s impressive win over Nottingham Forest at Selhurst Park featured goals from three different players, but it was Walter Benítez who emerged as the standout performer in the supporters’ vote.

The goalkeeper collected 78% of the ballots, securing the award by a considerable margin after a crucial first-half display. His saves ensured that Forest’s advantage remained limited to a single goal during a period when the visitors posed a serious threat.

Benítez’s finest intervention came at close range. After Morgan Gibbs-White had struck the crossbar, the Palace goalkeeper reacted superbly to keep out Liam Delap’s follow-up effort.

Quinten Timber finished second in the poll with 5.6%, while Daichi Kamada, one of Palace’s goalscorers, took third place on 4.8%. The result reflects the number of strong individual performances during a match in which Palace showed plenty of attacking edge.
