Crystal Palace Women head to Southampton tomorrow for their third Subway Players Cup League Phase fixture, with the Eagles currently sitting third after winning their opening two matches at home.

The revamped competition features 23 teams divided into Northern and Southern sections. Each side plays six regional fixtures, split evenly between home and away games, with three points available for a victory.

Matches level after 90 minutes go straight to a penalty shootout. The winning team receives two points, while the losing side still collects one. Palace are among the teams currently occupying a qualifying position, with the top eight at the end of the League Phase progressing to January’s quarter-finals.

The Eagles’ first away game of the competition takes place at Southampton’s Silverlake Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 19:00. Supporters unable to attend can follow updates through Palace Women’s X and Instagram channels, while the official Crystal Palace app will provide goal alerts, key incident notifications and live Opta statistics.

Southampton’s women’s team secured promotion to WSL2 in 2022 and have remained in the division since. Simon Parker was appointed manager in summer 2025 after Southampton finished fifth last season.
