Crystal Palace continue their UEFA Europa League campaign against Hoffenheim at Selhurst Park on Thursday, with kick-off scheduled for 17:45 GMT. Supporters attending the match are advised to check the latest arrangements before setting off.

The stadium turnstiles will open at 16:15 GMT, 90 minutes before kick-off. Because of the early-evening start and surrounding road closures, fans will not be able to enter before that time. Palace is expecting many supporters to arrive later than usual and is encouraging those who can to get to the ground early to help avoid queues. The club’s Fanzone will open from 15:45, featuring live music, skills games, appearances from Pete and Alice the Eagle, and food and drink options. Vendors in the Fanzone and retail truck will be cashless.

There are currently no expected train disruptions listed for matchday, although supporters should check the latest information from TfL and allow plenty of time for their journey. Tickets remain available on general sale from £25, although only fans who registered a Palace account before 28 August are eligible to purchase for this fixture. Ticket holders are reminded to download their match tickets to an iOS, Google or Android wallet in advance; the device must be switched on at the turnstile, but an internet connection is not required once the ticket has been saved.

Only one bag per person is permitted, and it must be no larger than A4. Bags may be searched at the stadium entrance. Items outside the permitted size can be left at the bag-drop facility in the main car park, where the club says the service will be free. The facility opens three hours before kick-off and closes 45 minutes after the final whistle. Four power-bank stations are also available around the ground, with charges of £4 per hour up to a maximum of £20.

Palace has reiterated its commitment to a safe and inclusive matchday, warning that discriminatory abuse, violence and entering the pitch can result in criminal action and club bans. Fans can report concerns to a steward, police officer or the club’s confidential text service on 07507 477 669, including the location and nature of the incident. A matchday welfare team will also be available, while ticket reprint stations at Entrances 4 and 9 open two hours before kick-off. Supporters requiring audio-descriptive commentary or Give Vision headsets are asked to request them at least two days before the fixture.
