Crystal Palace Under-18s return to U18 Premier League Cup action on Saturday, 10th October, with their meeting against Leeds United carrying major significance. Javier Alonso’s side need a win to maintain their hopes of defending the trophy they lifted last season.

The Young Eagles began Group C with a narrow 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest. Forest currently lead the section on three points, while Leeds United and Aston Villa drew their opening match and sit ahead of Palace, who are bottom of the group.

Only the group winner will progress to the quarter-finals, making Saturday’s fixture a must-win contest for Palace. The match will be the Academy side’s first outing since a three-week international break.

Palace know what is required to go all the way in the competition after winning the U18 Premier League Cup for the first time last season. They defeated Manchester United on penalties in a dramatic final staged at Selhurst Park in front of 4,000 supporters.

The Leeds clash will be streamed live on Palace TV+, with coverage starting at 10:45 BST before the 11:00 BST kick-off. Palace TV+ offers selected live Academy broadcasts alongside first-team friendlies and live first-team commentary.
