Crystal Palace have a major weekend ahead at Academy level, with the Under-18s hosting Aston Villa on Saturday, 7 November, before the Under-21s welcome Everton the following day. Both fixtures will be streamed live on Palace TV+ shortly before kick-off.

The Under-18 fixture carries significant importance in the Premier League Cup. Javier Alonso’s side need a positive result in their final Group C game to keep their quarter-final hopes alive after losing 2-1 to Nottingham Forest and responding with a 3-0 victory over Leeds United, when Donte Martin scored a hat-trick.

Villa currently sit top of the group with four points, while Palace and Forest have three each. Only the winner of each group advances to the last eight, making Saturday’s match effectively a knockout contest. A Palace victory would take the Young Eagles to six points and secure first place and qualification. Even if Forest defeat Leeds, they would need to improve their goal difference by at least eight goals more than Palace’s winning margin to finish above them.

Darren Powell’s Under-21s will be aiming to carry their momentum into Sunday’s Premier League 2 meeting with Everton. Palace go into the contest after a 2-1 win over Newport County on Tuesday, a result that secured the Academy’s place in the EFL Trophy knockout stages for the first time.

Palace TV+ is offered through annual, monthly and weekly passes, with the service also carrying highlights and reaction after both games. Supporters can receive stream notifications through the official Palace app, follow live updates and commentary via the club’s digital channels, and find match reports in the Academy news section after the final whistle.
