Daichi Kamada has reached 100 appearances for Crystal Palace and says his time in south London has left him with memories he can be proud of, despite a challenging start. The Japan international also believes he still has plenty more to offer in red and blue.

Kamada admitted that his opening five or six months at the club were difficult, with Palace struggling as a team and the midfielder finding regular opportunities limited. However, the experience has helped build his confidence, particularly after Palace went on to win three trophies during his first two years.

The 30-year-old believes persistence has been central to his progress. He recalled watching Palace as a teenager and questioning whether his physical profile would suit the club, but said his journey shows what can be achieved over time. Kamada now wants to continue improving and hopes to help the Eagles win more honours.

Palace's recent Carabao Cup victory over Fulham has provided a timely lift after difficult results against Newcastle and Besiktas. Kamada praised the team's concentration and unity in securing a clean sheet at Craven Cottage, adding that the result restored confidence before Saturday's Premier League visit to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The midfielder acknowledged that Palace are adapting to the attacking approach of manager Pierre Sage and are continuing to make tactical adjustments after reviewing each match. He said the squad must become more consistent, avoid simple errors and improve in individual duels, while also highlighting the importance of every player contributing with several competitions under way.

Kamada expects the group to remain calm during difficult periods, drawing on previous experience of recovering from a poor start to enjoy a successful season. With Tottenham next, he recognises the quality of the opposition but insists Palace will travel with the intention of winning.
