Crystal Palace will aim to make it three straight victories at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when they visit Spurs on Saturday evening, with kick-off scheduled for 17:30 GMT.

Ahead of the fixture, Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi spoke highly of Palace head coach Pierre Sage. The Italian said he has known Sage since his time at Lyon and also faced his teams during the Frenchman’s spell at Lens.

De Zerbi also acknowledged the demands facing Palace as they compete in three competitions. He has watched the Eagles’ recent matches against Fulham, Besiktas and Newcastle, noting that although Palace lost at Newcastle, they remain active in the contests they are involved in. He expects Saturday’s meeting to be a difficult assignment for Tottenham.

Spurs are set to have James Maddison available after the midfielder was forced off during their victory over Chelsea. Destiny Udogie is also in contention, while Tosin, Lucas Bergvall and Mykhailo Mudryk remain unavailable for the hosts.

Tottenham head into the game after successive Premier League wins over Coventry and Chelsea. De Zerbi took charge with the club facing a relegation threat and secured top-flight survival with three victories in his final seven matches of the previous campaign.
