Crystal Palace are reportedly reluctant to sell Senegal winger Ismaila Sarr in January, with the club having held talks over a new contract for the 28-year-old.

Football Insider reports that Sarr wanted to join Liverpool during the summer. Palace’s current position is understood to be to retain the player during the January window.

The club could also turn to an out-of-work manager if they decide to sack Frenchman Pierre Sage, according to Football Insider.

The i reports that former Brentford and Tottenham manager Thomas Frank and ex-Burnley, Everton and Nottingham Forest boss Sean Dyche are among the contenders should Palace decide to part company with Sage.
