Crystal Palace are reluctant to sell Senegal winger Ismaila Sarr in January after holding talks over a new contract, according to Football Insider.

The 28-year-old reportedly wanted to join Liverpool during the summer. However, Palace’s current position is that they do not want to part with Sarr in the upcoming January window.

Football Insider also reports that Palace would look to appoint a manager who is currently out of work if they decide to sack Pierre Sage.

According to The I, former Brentford and Tottenham boss Thomas Frank and ex-Burnley, Everton and Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche are among the contenders should Palace decide to dispense with Sage.
