Quinten Timber has called on Crystal Palace to turn encouraging periods of play into complete performances as they look to rediscover their winning form.

Speaking to Premier League Productions last week, the midfielder said Palace had demonstrated their ability to make strong starts and respond as a team during recent matches. However, he stressed that the squad must maintain that level for the full 90 minutes, particularly in the Premier League.

Timber pointed to Palace’s meeting with Nottingham Forest as an example of the team’s fluctuations. He felt the Eagles began well, endured a difficult spell, and then regained control after that period. For him, the mentality within the group is clear; the challenge is showing it consistently in every game.

The Netherlands international also highlighted the demanding schedule, saying the frequency of matches gives Palace an immediate opportunity to learn from setbacks and improve. At the time of his comments, the club were preparing for a first victory in five matches, with fixtures against Beşiktaş and Newcastle United ahead. Timber missed those games through injury and remained an injury doubt for the Carabao Cup meeting with Fulham.

Timber has made an encouraging start since joining Palace from Marseille on transfer deadline day last month. He made his debut against Fulham and described his arrival in south London as a rapid and intense experience, adding that he had been warmly received by the club and its supporters. The midfielder said he was pleased to be at Palace and hoped to demonstrate that feeling through his performances on the pitch.
