Crystal Palace were beaten 2-0 by Tottenham on Saturday as Roberto De Zerbi's side secured a third consecutive Premier League victory for the first time in 616 days.
Speaking after the match, De Zerbi pointed to a change in Tottenham's mentality and team spirit as the key reason behind their improved form. He said his players had previously been performing as individuals rather than as a collective unit.
The Spurs manager also referred to conceding a “stupid goal” and losing energy and spirit as problems from the earlier period. He believes those issues have now been addressed, with Tottenham operating more effectively as a team.
Palace's afternoon became more difficult after they were reduced to 10 men, allowing Tottenham to complete a professional victory and extend their winning run.
