Crystal Palace supporters can now watch the third episode of When Eagles Dare on the club’s official YouTube channel. The five-part documentary, produced in-house by Palace TV and previously shown on Amazon Prime Video, revisits the remarkable period that took the club from financial crisis in 2010 to the Championship play-off final in 2013.

Titled Ollie, the latest episode focuses on the challenge Palace faced after missing out on promotion and losing Dougie Freedman to Championship rivals Bolton Wanderers. The club also had to contend with Manchester United’s interest in Wilfried Zaha as it looked to maintain its progress.

The episode examines Freedman’s contribution to laying the foundations for the team’s eventual success before Ian Holloway arrived and took the side forward. Holloway’s appointment brought a new chapter to the story as Palace continued their push towards promotion.

A new episode is scheduled for release at 6pm each day through Friday, 2 October. The series concludes with the journey to the promotion-winning campaign and the unforgettable play-off final at Wembley.

When Eagles Dare features interviews with figures including chairman Steve Parish, Freedman, Holloway, Zaha, Damien Delaney, Yannick Bolasie, Jonny Williams and Mile Jedinak, alongside previously unseen behind-the-scenes footage. Together, the episodes tell the story of Palace’s fight for survival, the formation of the CPFC 2010 consortium and the team that ultimately reached Wembley.
