Crystal Palace supporters can now watch the opening instalment of When Eagles Dare on the club’s official YouTube channel, revisiting the events that transformed the club between 2010 and 2013.

The five-part series, produced in-house by Palace TV and previously shown on Amazon Prime Video, begins with an episode titled Back from the Brink. It examines the period when Palace entered administration, received a 10-point deduction and faced the threat of extinction.

The episode focuses on four Palace fans who attempted to negotiate a deal with Lloyds Bank in an effort to save the club they had supported since childhood. New episodes are scheduled to be released at 6pm each day through Friday, 2 October.

Across the series, viewers will see the fight to preserve Palace, the creation of the CPFC 2010 consortium and the club’s progress on the pitch under Dougie Freedman and Ian Holloway. The story ultimately leads to the Championship play-off final at Wembley in 2013.

The documentary includes interviews with chairman Steve Parish, Freedman, Holloway, Wilfried Zaha, Damien Delaney, Yannick Bolasie, Jonny Williams and Mile Jedinak, alongside previously unseen behind-the-scenes footage. Together, the episodes provide accounts from people involved in one of the most significant chapters in Crystal Palace’s history.
