Crystal Palace have announced a series of measures to support supporters affected by suicidal thoughts and mental health challenges, as the club backs the Premier League’s Together Against Suicide campaign and partners with Life & Progress.

The announcement comes on World Suicide Prevention Day, Thursday, 10 September 2026. Palace are encouraging supporters to start conversations about mental health, including by checking in with friends and fellow fans who may be struggling.

From October, Welfare Stewards trained to hold suicide prevention conversations will be present on matchdays. A welfare hub will also operate at the stadium, with a representative from Mind in Croydon available to speak with and support anyone who needs help.

Palace Season Ticket Holders aged 16 and over will also be able to access Life & Progress’s Mind Over Match service for free around the clock. The football-focused programme provides confidential emotional support by telephone or through a secure online portal, alongside counselling and clinical signposting for issues including bereavement, financial worries and work-related pressure.

Season Ticket Holders are due to receive their login details by email on Friday, 11 September. Anyone who does not receive them can contact inclusion@cpfc.co.uk and provide their Client Reference Number to request access.

The Together Against Suicide campaign was developed by the Premier League and its clubs with suicide prevention charity Samaritans. Supporters can use the campaign’s online hub for guidance on interrupting negative thought patterns, beginning difficult conversations and directing people towards specialist support. The campaign’s previous launch in September 2025 was followed by an increase of up to 300 calls per day to the Samaritans national helpline.
