Crystal Palace supporters were broadly encouraged by the 4-0 Europa League victory over Lech Poznan, with several fans describing the performance as a sign that the team is beginning to find its best level.

GP highlighted Yeremy Pino's display in a central position, saying the forward caused problems for the Polish side's defence. The supporter also called for Palace to carry the momentum into Sunday's match at Elland Road and praised the backing from the travelling fans.

The defensive performance remained a concern for Steve, who felt a stronger opponent could have punished Palace. Chris Richards was singled out as the main problem in that assessment, despite the clean sheet being welcomed by H as a reassuring aspect of the result.

Kevin described the win as polished and suggested it could provide a significant boost to Palace's season. H was also pleased with the team's attacking positivity and improved goalscoring.

Adam Wharton's contribution attracted particular praise. Malcolm pointed to the midfielder's quick reading of the game, while Al said Wharton looked comfortable wearing the captain's armband. Al also noted that Palace had goals from defenders, midfielders and forwards, and praised the contributions of Eddie Nketiah, Jaydee Canvot, Ismaila Sarr and Dwight McNeill.

For Al, keeping an unchanged starting XI helped build confidence, while the overall display offered a lift before the visit to Leeds. The supporter also viewed the performances of the squad's different units as evidence of encouraging depth this season.
