Crystal Palace have reached the season’s first international break with supporters being asked to assess the team’s opening five Premier League matches under Pierre Sage.
Sage took charge after Oliver Glasner, regarded as one of the greatest managers in the club’s history, and inherited a squad affected by a summer of change. Several important players departed, while others became unsettled during the transition.
The new manager began his time at Palace with victory in the club’s first-ever Europa League campaign. The Eagles’ league form has also improved after defeats in their opening two matches, with one win and one draw from their subsequent three fixtures.
However, defensive concerns remain. Palace have conceded the joint-second-highest number of goals in the division, adding an important context to the encouraging response after their difficult start.
Supporters are now being asked how they rate the opening to the campaign and what they believe Sage should prioritise during the extended break. Their views will help shape the debate around Palace’s progress under their new manager.
