Crystal Palace will aim to get back to winning ways when they visit Besiktas on Thursday evening, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 BST in Istanbul.

Wilfred Ndidi is expected to feature for the Turkish side. The former Leicester City midfielder joined Besiktas in 2025 and helped them finish fourth in the Super Liga last season.

Ahead of the match, the Nigeria international acknowledged the demands Palace could bring, pointing to the high tempo and intensity commonly associated with teams from England. Ndidi also described the Eagles as a good team, while insisting that Besiktas are prepared for the challenge on home soil.

The midfielder also discussed the possibility of facing Adam Wharton. Ndidi praised the Palace player as a talented, aggressive left-footed midfielder, although he admitted that Besiktas do not yet know which players will be selected in the Eagles' starting line-up.

Besiktas are targeting a top-eight finish in the European league phase and view Thursday's fixture as an important opportunity to strengthen that pursuit. They will arrive looking to respond after their previous match, having also taken lessons from their recent European tie against Hoffenheim.

Hyeon Gyu-Oh, who scored twice against Hoffenheim, is expected to lead the hosts' attack. Ernest Poku could also be involved, while the availability of Dusan Vlahovic for the starting XI remains undecided after he played in Besiktas' defeat by Trabzonspor on Monday.
