Leeds manager Daniel Farke said his side had to settle for a point after Crystal Palace held them to a 0-0 draw in the Premier League.
Speaking to BBC Match of the Day, Farke described Palace as a difficult opponent and admitted Leeds were below their best. He was nevertheless pleased with the defensive effort that helped his team preserve a clean sheet.
Leeds had an opportunity to take the lead through Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the second half, but Farke said he was satisfied with the draw and the way his players dealt with Palace’s threat. He highlighted the final half-hour as an open contest and praised Leeds’ handling of Palace’s counter-attacks.
The result means Leeds remain unbeaten after their first five Premier League matches, with two victories and three draws. It is the first time they have avoided defeat across their opening five games in the competition since the 2001-02 season.
The stalemate was Leeds’ fourth goalless Premier League draw since the start of 2026, across 25 matches. Two of those 0-0 results have come against Palace, making this the only fixture to produce two scoreless draws in the competition during that period.
