Crystal Palace secured a 0-0 draw against Leeds, with Daniel Farke acknowledging that his side had been tested by a difficult Eagles team.

Speaking to BBC Match of the Day, the Leeds manager said the performance was not his team’s best and became scrappy late on. However, he was satisfied with the way Leeds defended and competed to preserve their unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign.

Farke highlighted Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s second-half opportunity, while admitting Leeds would have preferred to find a way to win the match. He also praised the hosts for dealing with Palace’s counter-attacking threat during an open final half-hour.

The result leaves Leeds unbeaten through their first five league matches, with two wins and three draws. It is the first time they have achieved that record in the competition since the 2001-02 season.

The fixture also produced Leeds’ fourth goalless Premier League draw since the start of 2026. Two of those have come against Palace, making this the only meeting in the competition during that period to end 0-0 twice.
