Crystal Palace Women manager Jo Potter has called on her players to be bold when they face Charlton Athletic in Sunday's South London derby.
The Eagles will meet the Addicks at The 360 Engage Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 14:00 GMT on Sunday, 8th November. Potter believes Palace must show more than an underdog mentality and take their chances when opportunities arise.
The fixture will also see Potter face former Charlton teammate Karen Hills in the opposing dugout. The pair played together at Charlton between 2005 and 2007, and Potter spoke highly of Hills' qualities as both a former defender and a manager.
Potter also praised Molly Bartrip's start to life at Palace following her move from Tottenham Hotspur. The centre-back is the only player currently ranked among the Women's Super League's top three for tackles, clearances and blocks, underlining her defensive impact.
The Palace manager highlighted Bartrip's ability to read danger and contribute without the ball, as well as her technical quality in possession. Tickets remain available for Sunday's derby, while Potter's full pre-match press conference is available to watch on Palace TV.
