Jean-Philippe Mateta looks set to leave Crystal Palace, with a departure from Selhurst Park reportedly on the cards in January.
The 29-year-old France striker’s future is the subject of fresh transfer reports, although Palace have yet to decide how they want to handle the situation.
According to Football Insider, the club are unsure whether to cash in on Mateta during the winter transfer window or retain him for the remainder of his contract.
Mateta’s current deal is due to run out in the summer, when he would be able to leave Palace as a free agent. That leaves the club weighing up a possible January exit against keeping the striker until the end of the season.
