Crystal Palace will face an Ipswich Town side with almost its entire squad available when the teams meet at Selhurst Park on Saturday, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 BST.

Ipswich manager Gary O'Neil confirmed that midfielder Jack Taylor is the only player not back in full training. Azor Matusiwa and left winger Jaden Philogene have both returned to work with the main group after yet to feature this season.

Philogene is considered ready to start against Palace, while Matusiwa is expected to begin among the substitutes. O'Neil said the players and the club's medical and fitness staff had worked well to put the squad in strong condition following a demanding pre-season and the early cup fixture.

The Ipswich boss also praised striker Emersonn, who scored on his competitive debut against Sunderland in Town's opening Premier League match. O'Neil said the 22-year-old had adapted to the level better and more quickly than expected.

Attention also turned to Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, whom O'Neil described as an outstanding passer and a major part of the challenge facing Ipswich. He added that Palace's European success demonstrated the quality within the Eagles' squad.
