Crystal Palace will begin their Carabao Cup campaign against Middlesbrough when the sides meet at Selhurst Park in the third round on Tuesday 8 September 2026.

The match is scheduled to start at 7:45pm, with Palace heading into the fixture after recording their first Premier League victory under head coach Pierre Sage at the weekend. The Eagles entered the competition at a later stage because of their Europa League commitments.

Supporters can watch the tie live on Sky Sports+, while Sky Go customers will be able to stream it through the Sky Go app on compatible smartphones and tablets. The match is also available through NOW, with day and month memberships offered by the streaming service.

ITVX will provide another way to watch the game online, with the platform available through compatible smart TVs, phones, tablets and consoles. Audio coverage will be available on BBC Radio Sports Extra 2 via DAB, selected television packages, the BBC website and the BBC Sounds app.

Middlesbrough arrive in south London in strong form, having won five of their first seven matches this season. The Championship side have already beaten Wrexham and Doncaster in the earlier rounds and will be aiming to claim a top-flight scalp at Selhurst Park.
