Crystal Palace goalkeeper Owen Goodman was central to Dundee FC earning a 2-2 draw with Rangers in the Scottish Premiership, producing a series of important saves to keep his side in the contest.
The 22-year-old made a particularly strong contribution early in the second half. With Dundee leading 2-1, Goodman denied Badredine Bouanani in a one-on-one situation before stopping Djeidi Gassama three times in quick succession, including a reflex save with his foot. Rangers eventually found an equaliser, but the Palace loanee remained composed and helped Dundee secure a point. The result leaves them fourth, two points above fifth place.
Jesurun Rak-Sakyi also continued to make an impression during his loan spell in Turkey. After scoring his first goal for Kasımpaşa FC against Galatasaray last week, the winger registered an assist in a convincing 4-1 win over Samsunspor.
Rak-Sakyi was a constant threat and supplied the decisive moment midway through the second half. Cutting onto his left foot, he delivered a cross into the box for Adam Arous, who headed Kasımpaşa into a 2-1 lead. The result moved the club up to seventh in the Trendyol Süper Lig, level on 13 points with Çorum and Trabzonspor.
The appearance was Rak-Sakyi’s fourth in the five matches for which he has been eligible since joining Kasımpaşa on loan over the summer. Both he and Goodman have also featured in Palace TV’s Loan Life series, which follows their experiences adapting to new clubs and progressing in senior football.
