Dean Henderson has called on Crystal Palace supporters to remain united as the club moves through a period of change, insisting they deserve to enjoy the team’s recent success.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper has agreed a new long-term contract that will keep him at Selhurst Park until 2030. Since joining Palace from Manchester United in August 2023, Henderson has made 119 appearances for the Eagles.

He has also helped Palace lift the FA Cup and has worn the captain’s armband in the Conference League. Reflecting on the FA Cup occasion at Wembley, Henderson praised the role played by the supporters, who he said gave the team constant backing throughout the match.

Henderson believes Selhurst Park must become a strong home venue for Palace and says the players will need the fans’ support while the squad adapts. He acknowledged that the period has been challenging, with players returning late and new ideas being introduced.

Despite those difficulties, Henderson remains confident that Palace can have a successful season. He urged everyone connected with the club to put recent negativity aside and work together as the team continues its transition.
