Dean Henderson has been recognised on the shortlist for the Premier League’s September Coca-Cola Save of the Month award.

The Crystal Palace captain is nominated for a remarkable reaction save during the Eagles’ 3-2 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage. With Fulham ahead 1-0, Henderson denied Timothy Castagne from close range in the 33rd minute.

Oscar Bobb’s cross found Castagne only a few yards from goal, but Henderson managed to reach out with his right arm while falling backwards and divert the effort away from the net.

The intervention proved crucial as Palace equalised within minutes through Tyrick Mitchell before completing the comeback. It was the club’s first Premier League win under Pierre Sage.

Henderson’s stop is one of six saves nominated for the award. David Raya has two entries on the shortlist, while Gianluigi Donnarumma, Alisson and Bernd Leno are also in contention. Supporters can vote for Henderson, with voting closing at 12:00 BST on Monday, 28th September.
